SHRIMP AND GRITS

Grits

  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup grits
  • 1-1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 cup grated cheese topping

1. Boil water and heavy cream.
2. Add grits, butter and garlic powder.

Shrimp
  • 2 cups raw shrimp
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Tony Cachere's Seasoning

1. Saute shrimp in butter with Tony Cachere's Seasoning.
2. Mix grits and sauteed shrimp. Top with grated cheese.
