BREAKFAST PIE

  • 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup half and half cream
  • 1 small bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (8-oz) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 uncooked pie shells
  1. Brown sausage, drain.

  2. Combine all other ingredients, and pour into pie shells.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees 30 - 40 minutes until golden brown.
    Can be frozen ahead, then thawed and cooked.
Makes 2 pies
